TA96T8: Very well defined scepter growth whose base is a smoky crystal, with a very deep color, capped by a sharp crystal with a short prism and translucent with many inclusions. Because of a neat irregular growth on the back it is possible to see the termination of the dark smoky stem.

TB47T8: Group of really huge crystals, one of them doubly terminated, with an extraordinarily deep green color and very intense luster, with some Quartz crystals and on matrix. Extraordinary sample, an American classic.

TA46T8: Very aerial and esthetic group, very rich in complex crystals with well defined faces and edges, translucent and with the extraordinary deep blue color (“electric blue”) typical of the best samples from Milpillas, with vivid reflections and good transparency under a strong light.

NA66T8: A novelty at Expominer (Barcelona) 2011. A crystal on matrix with an unusual flattened morphology, which is quite uncommon for Navajún. The edges, sharp and perfect, are completely natural and the crystal has been consolidated on its matrix to avoid its possible detachment.

NM87T8: Group of cubic crystals of Fluorite beveled by the dodecahedron. They are very bright, with a very deep color and good transparency that show a geometrical color zoning parallel to the edges. With very small bright crystals of Chalcopyrite peppering the Fluorite faces and on a matrix of crystallized Calcite. The sample is from material collected for years by Fernando Brugos, former owner of the La Viesca claim. This material has been accurately documented, the different pockets as well as the dates of the finds have been recorded.

NL68T8: Group of cubic crystals with the edges widely beveled by echeloned growths. They have a clear lilac color and are transparent, with geometrical color zoning showing a deeper internal color and they are on a matrix of crystallized Quartz. The sample is from material collected for years by Fernando Brugos, former owner of the La Viesca claim. This material has been accurately documented, the different pockets as well as the dates of the finds have been recorded.

ER76T8: Group of twinned crystals of Sphalerite with a dominant tetrahedron, very bright and on matrix, with small cuboctahedral crystals of Galena and with Quartz, Siderite and Pyrite, also crystallized.

EQ14T8: Aggregate of rhombohedral crystals of Calcite with very marked curved faces and edges giving the so-called “saddle” shape. They are on matrix, with abundant “plumosite” (Boulangerite-Jamesonite) inclusions at the back of the sample.

EC96T8: Rosette growths of platy crystals of Rhodochrosite with a very intense pink color that contrasts with the white color of the Quartz crystal matrix.

ED27T8: Botryoidal growths of small crystals of Rhodochrosite with an intense pink color and very bright, with brown globular growths of Siderite and crystals of Quartz.

MJ37T8: Group of crystals of Grossular (variety Hessonite) composed of the trapezohedron and the dodecahedron. They are transparent and have a very deep color which contrasts with very well defined crystals of Diopside and small crystals of Chlorite.

Testa Ciarva, Balme, Val d'Ala, Torino, Piemonte  Italy (±1960)

Specimen size: 2.7 × 1.9 × 1.7 cm = 1.1” × 0.7” × 0.7”

Main crystal size: 0.8 × 0.7 cm = 0.3” × 0.3”

EM47T8: Druse of crystals with an unusual morphology for Roselite-beta, with lenticular crystals that show a very deep color and are on a matrix of cobaltoan Calcite. The sample has been accurately analyzed and we’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

ML27T8: Very well defined laminar growths and very thin hooked crystals on Quartz matrix. The sample is from a locality that is rarely referenced in mineral collections.

EA27T8: A novelty at Munich 2011. Elongated crystal of Hedenbergite with parallel growths, of slightly fibrous aspect, grayish green color and silky luster. It is crowned by a group of Quartz crystals.
This specimen was photographed and published as a novelty at the 2011 Munich Show in the magazine ‘Le Règne Minéral’ number 102, page 21 and also in the magazine ‘Rivista Mineralogica Italiana’ on page 260 in number 2011/4
