A novelty from Madagascar, but a common species: Calcite. An attractive group in which the sharpness of the crystals stands out. They stand out for their color, brilliance, and the presence of extraordinarily unusual twinning formed by the interpenetration of two rhombohedra.

An interesting novelty of Tucson 2008. A nice twin of two short Calcite crystals. Prism faces are totally clear and transparent. Pinacoidal terminations are translucent. To increase its beauty the specimen has a small matrix. Excellent miniature.
