A novelty of Tucson 2009. Globular growths of barrel-shaped crystals of good luster and green color with olive shades. The sample, on matrix, is from a recent find in a locality hitherto little known.

Different from the usual habit for the locality. The crystals, of excellent luster, are prismatic, relatively short and a lot of them are doubly terminated. The color, apple-green, is different for the locality.

Group of doubly terminated crystals of Quartz with slight curvatures on the prism edges and on matrix. Their characteristic brown color seems due to indeterminate inclusions. The matrix is also brown Calcite and has been partially dissolved by acid to expose the crystals.

N14YE2: Quartz with Fluorapatite and Mica
A very clean and well defined Quartz Crystal. The upper termination is very unusual, with one of the faces far better developed than is normally the case. So overall it looks like the termination is flat. It also has some small crystals of Fluorapatite and Mica on the rear of the Quartz.
