A novelty at Tucson 2010. The Allargentum appears intergrown with Silver and Dyscrasite. It is clearly differentiated and dominant in the analysis of the sample, so the right label is Allargentum. The Allargentum forms arborescent growths on a Calcite-rich matrix with small groups of Actinolite. We’ll send a copy of the analysis.

Although the camera don't show it very well, the color is very nice, sort of a golden bronze, and its luster is very special with a lot of reflections. As with the other specimens that we had selected this one is floater, doubly terminated and great!

A novelty in Ste. Marie 2009. Group of dodecahedral crystals of very well defined faces and edges and good color and luster and an excellent transparency. The matrix is formed by minute growths of the same garnet. The locality was not well known until recently, and the habit of this Demantoid is really unusual.

Faces and edges are very well defined and have very good color, luster and transparency. The locality was not well known until recently, and the habit of this Demantoid is really unusual.

Their luster is extraordinary and they are with small white crystals of Stilbite. The Topazolite variety has been well defined on this kind of samples and this will be reflected in a future article in The Mineralogical Record.

Parallel growths of crystals with very well defined faces and edges, a bluish-gray color, and implanted on a small matrix. We note the quality of the crystals due to the locality, in which the Anglesite is well known but, at the same time, scarce.

Tabular crystals are uncommon in Indian Apophyllite-(KF). In this case they are also very well defined and aerial, with a very light green tone and a good contrast with the cream-colored Heulandite.
